We return Monday Feb. 28th

We are proud to have John Ralston joining us for the first of the new shows.  John is a great guy with more knowledge about the political scene in Nevada and the country than anyone.  He is a great interviewer who doesn't back down from any guest.  We'll turn the tables on Monday and get some real answers on what is going on out there in our country.
We'll talk about the battle to fund education in our country.  We'll explore the role of the Brothels in our state and we will talk with the leaders of the NOH8 campaign against the bullying and discrimination of our young people.
There will be more and of course the phone and Skype lines will be open for you to participate with your questions for the guests and your opinion on the world around us.

If at first you don't succeed, Try Try again!

The only thing we can be sure of is change.  Although we didn’t plan on it change has come to us again.  The plans we announced earlier have fallen through. 

It has been said that when others don’t follow through on promises then you have to “Do it Yourself.”  So we’ve done it ourselves.  We’re moving forward! 

www.TheDaveScottShow.com will be the web site to carry our radiotelephone talk show Monday through Friday.  And we’re expanding the show.  On February 28^th we will return daily with two hours of guests, discussion of current events and the search for Common Sense in our lives.  As before, Friday will be devoted to everything Food!  The “Restaurant Show” will feature top chefs, leaders in the industry and tips on how to enjoy dining out.  The new show has been scheduled to give as many as possible the chance to join in on the discussions and will be heard from 10 AM until Noon.

We’re proud to be cooperating with Paul Natto of the Las Vegas Radio Station. Com and popular Host of several Internet radio shows heard around the world.  Paul will be at the controls and, from time to time, add his prospective on what’s going on around us.  The Dave Scott show will be heard over Internet stations across the country.

In the days ahead I’ll be posting new information on the show along with the guest and subject line-up.  I hope you’ll plan on joining us once again!

Keeping you informed

I wanted to let you know what's happening here with regard to the new show.  Although we had planned on being back to the daily broadcast on January 10th, the people at RealRadio8 have been unable to complete work on the new studio.  As I await word on the progress I will continue to work on alternatives and search other ways of bringing the daily show back.  If you have any suggestions or know of possible directions that could aid in the search, please let me know and I'll follow up as I continue to work with possible sponsors for the show.
I appreciate you staying with us as we do everything possible to continue our daily meetings and explore the "Common sense" approach to understanding our world.

Common Sense does exist after all

Amidst all of the rhetoric of the week came the voice of "Common Sense" and reason.  It was CLASS pure CLASS.
We have a President for our time and we should be damn glad we have B. Obama in the highest office in the Land.  Since the tragic events of last Saturday we have been watching and listening to people, some in high offices,  who have done nothing but look to find blame in our system, our media, our beliefs and our concerns.  Last night our President made us realize and believe that there is something good that can come from evil, even if we don't see it at the time.  THANK YOU Mr. President.  We needed your words of hope and desire for clear thinking.  You confirmed the votes of the many who elected you.

“The Dave Scott Show.”

Starting soon Monday through Friday at 4 PM (PST) we’ll be broadcasting live from studios in Las Vegas.  A full bank of phone lines and Skype will be available for you to participate with your questions for the guests and a chance to air your views on the variety of subjects we’ll be talking about.  Current events, Entertainment and the Friday “Restaurant Show” will all be a part of our daily get together.  Some times we’ll agree, sometimes we’ll disagree and sometimes we’ll agree to disagree but we’ll always discuss the issues that make this world go round.

With the connection to HD Radio channels you’ll be able to listen in your car and on your FM radio.  If your unable to be with us live at 4, following each show the Podcast will be available to you for listening and downloading. 

We’re proud to be joining RealRadio8 and being a part of a station that will be bringing you some of the top names in broadcasting and shows of interest to everyone.  Many of the shows will be done live from various Businesses, Hotels, casinos and restaurants around Las Vegas giving you a chance to be with us during the shows.
